Sunflower Seeds

Here is yet another photo from the garden. Ive harvested my sunflower heads once the seeds became dry. A quickway to also tell is when the leaves around the sunflower head turn brown or start turning brown. I had to pick mine maybe a week early because birds started picking at them! I still have another 7 or so head to cut off, next week... 2 of them being about 15 inches in diameter!

Do ya think I would look funny bringing a sunflower head to a baseball game and picking at it all9innings instead of buying a bag of them? :)

What a great harvest. The birds got most of mine. I'll have to plant more of them next year.
