The end of the year will be here and before I forget I wanted to remind everyone reading that many of our utility companies offer some sort of rebates or discounts. Some of them might end at the end of the year too, so now is a good time to double check their websites.
A local search of my gas company reveals $35 discount for new clothes washers, $30 for dish washers, $200 for a new furnace, .15 cents per square foot for insulation (that would save us $150), $200 on a tankless water heater, and up to $75 off for a high efficiency tank water heater.
Its definitely worth it to spend a few minutes checking your local websites for any rebates on items you need.
